AUTHOR / EDITORIAL DESK

The Companion Edit

The Companion Edit is the byline for a small editorial desk focused on useful pet-care questions, credible sources and the limits of general information.

We write and edit the dispatches on this site as a single publication rather than presenting a fictional panel of specialists. The desk's job is to frame questions carefully, read primary and professional guidance, explain the practical trade-offs and point readers toward qualified help when an individual animal needs it.

Our authorship page is intentionally plain. It does not invent veterinary credentials or turn a publication name into a medical authority. Each article carries its sources, date and method context. Corrections and source notes are welcome at [email protected].

For health and nutrition coverage, the editorial role is translation and context. Diagnosis, treatment and case-specific decisions remain with veterinary professionals who can examine the pet.
