SPONSORED CONTENT

A clear line around sponsored work

Sponsored work is considered only when the subject is relevant to the publication's pet-care remit and the relationship can be explained plainly. A commercial partner does not buy an editorial conclusion, a positive review or a place in an independent article. If the project cannot preserve that distinction, we decline it.

Paid pages carry a visible disclosure near the beginning and use clear language rather than a coded label. Links that form part of a sponsored placement are marked appropriately. The sponsor, commercial relationship and publication date are recorded in the site's internal campaign inventory for quality control.

Independent editorial coverage is not converted into sponsored content after publication without a new review. Product samples, affiliate relationships, event invitations and commissioned work are evaluated for conflicts and disclosed when they could affect a reader's interpretation.

What partners can do

Partners can provide factual background, access and feedback on errors concerning their own product or service. They cannot remove a material limitation, dictate a ranking or suppress a correction.

What readers should expect

A disclosure tells you why a page exists and how the relationship works. It does not tell you to agree with the page. Read the method, sources and product limits alongside the commercial note.

Contact

Partnership proposals should go to [email protected] with the organisation, subject, budget or commercial context and desired timing.
