Privacy at The Companion Edit
The Companion Edit is built as a lightweight static publication. The public pages do not require an account, do not ask for a name to read an article and do not load third-party analytics, advertising scripts, remote fonts or social widgets in the browser.
If you email [email protected], the message and the information you choose to include may be received by the editorial desk so that we can respond, investigate a correction or assess a proposal. Do not send sensitive health records, payment information or unnecessary personal details.
The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data such as an IP address, time, user agent and requested path as part of operating and securing the service. Retention and access are governed by the provider's infrastructure and the publisher's operational needs. We do not sell reader contact information.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not set a first-party account cookie or use local storage for a reader profile. Browser caching may store static assets so pages load efficiently.
